VELANTHOR / MARKET INTELLIGENCE
What is VELANTHOR?
VELANTHOR is a crypto trading terminal that connects price, orderflow, derivatives data and market structure, so a trader can analyse the market as one system rather than as separate charts.
What is VELANTHOR?
VELANTHOR is a crypto trading terminal that brings price charts, orderflow, cumulative volume delta (CVD), open interest, liquidations, footprint charts, smart money concepts and market structure into one analysis workspace. It helps traders see how these layers relate to each other. It does not predict prices.
A price chart shows the result of trading: where the market moved. It does not show who pushed it there, how much leverage was involved, or whether positions were opened or closed on the way. Those questions are answered by other datasets, and most traders end up switching between several tools to look at them.
VELANTHOR is built around the idea that these datasets describe the same market from different angles. Instead of treating a chart, a footprint view and a derivatives dashboard as separate products, it brings them together so they can be compared on the same time axis.
It is a tool for analysis. Like any analytical tool, it can make a trader better informed, but it cannot remove uncertainty or guarantee an outcome.
Who VELANTHOR is designed for
Discretionary derivatives traders
Traders of perpetual futures and similar products who make their own decisions and want more context than price and volume alone.
Chart traders moving toward orderflow
People who already read market structure on candles and want to see what the executed trades and positioning behind those candles looked like.
Analysts and researchers
Anyone studying how liquidity, leverage and aggression interact in crypto markets, whether for journaling, review or education.
Not a shortcut. Orderflow and derivatives data reward experience. VELANTHOR is meant to support a trader's own process, not to replace it, and the educational pages linked below explain each concept from the beginning.
What is a crypto trading terminal?
A crypto trading terminal is an integrated analysis workspace that combines price charts with the market data surrounding them, such as executed orderflow, derivatives positioning, liquidations and structure tools, instead of showing price alone.
The word borrows from financial terminals used in traditional markets, where one screen consolidates many data sources. In crypto, the relevant sources include spot and derivatives trading activity. The full explanation, including how a terminal differs from a charting platform, is on the crypto trading terminal page.
Which market data does VELANTHOR bring together?
- [[crypto-orderflow|Orderflow]]
- The record of executed trades and which side was aggressive. It shows buying and selling pressure rather than only the final price.
- [[crypto-cvd|CVD]]
- Cumulative Volume Delta: the running total of buy volume minus sell volume. It shows whether aggression has been leaning toward buyers or sellers over time.
- [[open-interest|Open interest]]
- The total number of outstanding derivative contracts. Rising and falling open interest indicates whether positions are being opened or closed.
- [[liquidation-heatmap|Liquidations]]
- Forced closures of leveraged positions, and estimated price zones where they may cluster.
- [[smart-money-concepts|Smart Money Concepts]]
- A framework for reading market structure, liquidity sweeps, order blocks and fair value gaps.
- [[crypto-footprint-chart|Footprint charts]]
- Candles broken down into bid and ask volume at every price level.
- Market structure
- The sequence of swing highs and lows that defines whether a market is trending, ranging or changing character.
- Liquidity
- Areas where many orders rest, such as stops above equal highs or below equal lows, which price tends to be drawn toward.
- Multi-chart analysis
- Viewing several instruments or timeframes together, for example a higher-timeframe structure next to a lower-timeframe execution chart.
Why does VELANTHOR combine several market dimensions?
Every single indicator has blind spots. Price rising on rising open interest and positive CVD describes a very different market from price rising on falling open interest and weak CVD, even though the candles can look identical.
Combining dimensions does not make the market predictable. It makes interpretations more specific, and it exposes when two views disagree. A disagreement, such as price making a new high while CVD does not, is often more informative than agreement.
This is also why the combination matters more than any single feature: orderflow without context is noise, structure without participation data is guesswork, and liquidation levels without price action are only estimates.
- StructureWhere is price relative to swing highs, lows and key liquidity?
- ParticipationAre positions being added or removed? What does open interest say?
- AggressionWhich side is hitting the book? What do CVD and footprint show?
- Forced flowWhere could liquidations add fuel or exhaust a move?
Classic charting vs. an integrated trading terminal
| Classic charting platform | Integrated trading terminal | |
|---|---|---|
| Primary focus | Price charts, indicators, drawing tools | Price plus the market data around it |
| Typical question | Where is price relative to my levels? | Who moved price there, and with how much leverage? |
| Orderflow and footprint | Often limited or add-on | Treated as core views |
| Derivatives context | Usually separate tools | Open interest, liquidations and CVD alongside the chart |
| Strength | Flexible charting, wide asset coverage | Connecting several datasets in one workflow |
What role does VELANTHOR play in market analysis?
VELANTHOR is an analysis layer. It helps a trader build a structured read of the market: where the structure is, what participation looks like, where liquidity and forced flow may sit, and whether the evidence agrees.
What it does not do is decide for the trader. Decisions about direction, position size, leverage and risk remain with the person using it. No dataset, including everything listed on this page, can guarantee a future price move.
Risk reminder. Leveraged crypto trading can result in rapid and substantial losses. Use analysis tools to understand risk, not to justify taking more of it.
Frequently asked questions
What is VELANTHOR?
VELANTHOR is a crypto trading terminal that combines charts, orderflow, CVD, open interest, liquidations, footprint charts, smart money concepts and market structure in one workspace for market analysis.
Who is VELANTHOR for?
It is aimed at traders and analysts who want more context than a price chart provides, particularly those working with crypto derivatives and interested in orderflow and structure.
Does VELANTHOR predict prices?
No. It does not claim to forecast price. It organises market data so a trader can form their own, better-informed view. No analytical tool can guarantee outcomes.
What is the difference between VELANTHOR and a charting platform?
A charting platform centres on price charts and indicators. A trading terminal also brings in orderflow, derivatives positioning and liquidation data so that these can be compared directly. See the crypto trading terminal guide.
What data types does VELANTHOR combine?
Price charts, orderflow, CVD, open interest, liquidations, footprint data, market structure and liquidity concepts, and multi-chart views.
Do I need to be a professional trader to use it?
No, but these concepts take time to learn. The educational pages on orderflow, smart money concepts and CVD explain them from first principles.
Is VELANTHOR financial advice?
No. VELANTHOR and the educational content on this site are informational. Trading leveraged crypto products carries a high risk of loss.
Where should I start learning?
Start with crypto orderflow, then read about CVD and open interest. Together they explain most of what sits behind a candle.
